Ann Demeulemeester established her house in Antwerp in 1985 as a founding member of the Antwerp Six, developing a signature aesthetic rooted in black, white, and raw edge that transformed the language of European fashion. Her work at the house—poetic, philosophical, and deeply personal—ran until 2013 when she left to pursue sculpture.
