Dai Fujiwara began at Issey Miyake as a knitwear specialist and co-developed the A-POC concept with Miyake before being appointed creative director in 2007. His collections continued the house's material research while pushing toward digital fabrication methods. He departed in 2011 to pursue independent projects.
