Mugler — founded as Thierry Mugler in 1974 — built its identity on body-conscious construction and science-fiction theatricality, treating the human silhouette as a site of radical transformation. The original house's wasp-waisted, shoulder-padded power suits and latex second skins were fashion as armour and provocation. After lying dormant for nearly a decade, the label was revived in 2010 under new creative leadership; today under Casey Cadwallader it continues to explore sexuality, performance, and the body's possibilities.
