Founded by Renzo Rosso in 1978, Diesel turned denim into a language of irreverent, premium casualwear. Its runway identity was sharpened by Nicola Formichetti and, from 2020, radically reinvented by Glenn Martens, whose distressed, body-conscious denim made the Italian label a critical favourite again.
